| Studio Potter John Boalick hopes to bring to the owners of his pottery some of his interpretations and experiences of life; he also wants to create aesthetically-pleasing pieces which others can use and enjoy. He uses his life experiences and memories as a source of inspiration. His exploration of these ideas comes about through working with clay and other inherent materials; by applying a variety of firing and glazing techniques in conjunction with throwing and altering forms, his work has evolved into visual and tactile examples of the influences of the world around him.
